My blog is a non-profit site for UK university applicants. There is no advertising or commercial element to this blog. I need to stress that am not an author of all photos and videos on this blog. Some photos and videos belong to their owners and they only serve the purpose of presenting popular student cities in Scotland and making the UCAS process less daunting.

Personal Statement
Since I started building my own part-time business in MLM, the world of business, marketing and economics has taken over my attention. My curiosity about Marketing Management, and Consumer Behaviour was growing immensely as I was developing my practical experience in pyramid selling. During my adventure with entrepreneurship, I have frequently noticed a prime importance of a good theoretical background, and therefore I decided to study Management with Marketing in the UK. My aim is to work directly with other people as a professional manager, and I am convinced that your course can equip me with a sound marketing knowledge and essential business skills.
In 2009 I was granted an annual scholarship which gave me a wonderful opportunity to research my favourite aspects of business. For a year, I was implementing my personal development plan in the area of Marketing Psychology, with a supervision of my entrepreneurship teacher. Our fruitful cooperation led me to present my own business plan during The Tarnow Entrepreneurship Forum. Afterwards my project won “Do Business in Tarnow” competition and qualified for a national contest organized by Raiffeisen Bank. I found both competitions very challenging, but also crucial in my business career, as the experience, which I gained, and the achieved success established my decision of applying for an undergraduate course in the UK. Moreover, participation in competitions gave me a wonderful chance to present my analytical, research and conceptual skills. One of the outcomes was my own idea of “The Graffiti Studio”- a place where young people would develop their potential by painting washable graffiti works. Apart from that, I had a chance to study various issues of Marketing Management: branding, advertisement and targeting. Not only did I have to prepare financial analyses, operation and marketing plans of my company but I also conducted a thorough market research.
In three recent years, through studying chosen Baccalaureate subjects in my High School, I have gained a reliable preparation for a higher education in Management and Marketing. Mathematics has taught me logical reasoning, which would help me in Financial Accounting and Business Economics. Economic Geography has refined my ability to interpret various statistics, data and rates, hence analyzing of Financial Statements will surely be a great pleasure for me. Entrepreneurship and economic sections of Civic Education have provided me with a sound knowledge of HR practices and psychological aspects of business.
Having an irresistible urge of expanding my theoretical and practical background in marketing, I started to cooperate with the FM Group. I have thoroughly benefited from their workshops about multi-level marketing, product strategies and dealing with customers. Moreover, by recruiting new members and selling goods to consumers I have significantly improved my planning, organizational and interpersonal skills. Since then I felt more financially independent and came towards the conclusion that customers can be easily enthused about brands, prices or expensive advertising.
In my spare time, I use a plethora of modern means of communication to boost my business knowledge. I regularly read Warsaw Business Journal and watch BBC World Business Reports to keep up to date with a current economic situation and its effects on business. I love browsing my favourite Inc.com website and watching online business lectures, which have helped me to master my English, and provided me with dozens of business curiosities concerning Consumer Psychology.
I find Management and Marketing extremely fascinating areas of study, and I am certain that I would fully benefit from studying in the British higher education system and living in an international environment. I hope that my experience, persistence and commitment to business are the best proof that I am well-prepared and motivated to study all aspects of Management and Marketing in the UK.
