New Year and old memories:)

New Year's Eve Party is over... 2011 has gone with the wind and will never come back. My New Year's provisions? I wanna keep you updated with my adventure with UCAS and British higher education system.

Some people say that 1 January is the best time for changes-man can start everything from scratch... However, I think that every day is good for changes... For example, my mum tried to lose weigh many times. Unfortunately, without effects:( One day, she said: "It is high time I really faced my problem. I go on a diet." Afterwards, she lost more than 20 kilograms!

I heard about people who started their higher education at the age of 60. In conclusion, it is never to late! I always try to use each chance I am given. You never know where different things may lead you:) For instance, thanks to Theatre Knowledge competition, I had been to Greece and met marvelous people who are my acquaintances know (I do not mean Facebook but real fellows). Moreover, I completed upper-intermediate course at the biggest language school in Poland-this was the most brilliant year of my life. I will never forget my first journey to Kraków (on my own). I was looking at the map as if it had been the Bible:):) Thanks to previously mentioned contest, I met native-speakers from Great Britain who influenced my decisions about studies. Furthermore, I met my course-mates, outstanding people. Three of them worked at Jagiellonian University-two Chemistry lectures (women) and one Law lecture (also a woman). I must mention Darek-he worked for IKEA and was always absent, because he participated in international conferences of the company. I even had a spokeswoman of "Cracovia" (football team)-she also worked in TV...You probably know these dull "TV supermarkets" such as Mango... so she used to work there:)
As far as I am concerned, I do not want to change myself! No makeovers (I am thinking about glasses instead of contact lenses, but isn't a big change). If people accepted their flaws and appreciated their merits, they wouldn't have any complexes.

My tip: do not care about other people' opinions and just be yourself. Everybody has heard at least one malicious feedback in their life. I do not care, because I love my life:)

To complete, I want to post a comment which I found on YouTube. It concerned Adel.
